After the completion of four projects in the St. Louis area, New York based Edison Schools elected to once again tap TW Constructors for the completion of two fast track school projects simultaneously. After working together to establish detailed budgets and schedules for a $2.8 million expansion and renovation at their walnut Park campus and a $600,000.oo cosmetic upgrade for the South City Campus construction was ready to begin.

The Walnut Park expansion was completed 28 calendar days ahead of schedule allowing school to be opened in the new facility and thus avoiding the need for temporary quarters until the expansion was complete. At the South City Campus close coordination and staging of the work with the exiting tenant as they vacated portions of the building allowed for a summer school program and for the fall class schedule to start as scheduled.

At both locations through tight cost control, combined team efforts, and open communication both budgets were improved upon while in some instances expanded scope was also achieved.

As a result of this successful relationship, Edison Schools has engaged TW Constructors as a Construction Manager to oversee a series of capital projects for 2008
