TW Constructors was chosen to undertake the Tenant Interiors project for both NAIC 1 and NAIC 2, located in Edwardsville, IL.
NAIC 1 encompasses a vast 1 million square feet, primarily focusing on warehousing alongside smaller labs and office spaces. Its main objective is to facilitate the shipping and receiving of units, manufactured and tested, between NAIC 2 for global distribution.
NAIC 2 also spans 1 million square feet, featuring labs, offices, and a central warehousing operational hub. Notably, it boasts a 50,000 square feet equipment platform and a 25,000 square feet outdoor equipment yard housing chillers and generators. The installation of HVAC rooftop equipment was carried out via helicopter due to the facility’s width. NAIC 2 serves as a center for product assembly and testing before dispatching them to NAIC 1 for shipment.
