TW Constructors was engaged by an undisclosed client within the technology sector to serve as the principal contractor for their project focusing on modifications and enhancements across various Ohio locations. This project kicks into gear following the completion of the construction phase of the data center, transitioning into ongoing maintenance, alterations, and improvements.

The scope of these projects is comprehensive, encompassing a wide array of tasks such as upgrading electrical or fiber optic systems, installing necessary safety features like emergency lighting, enhancing or reconfiguring dock areas to streamline shipments, and replacing any malfunctioning equipment. Furthermore, the company undertakes studies to identify potential issues or explore opportunities for further upgrades. This includes upgrading server technology, updating fire, alarm, and security systems, and fitting sensors within the data hall to closely monitor environmental changes, like humidity and temperature shifts. Additionally, there’s the task of laying down the necessary piping and electrical framework to support the server floor’s infrastructure, among many other responsibilities.
