TW Constructors supported the delivery of a 295,000-square-foot, state-of-the-art biopharmaceutical facility for Pfizer, Inc., one of the world’s leading innovators in life sciences. Designed and constructed to meet Pfizer’s rigorous standards for quality, safety, and performance, the facility integrates advanced research, laboratory, and production environments within a highly collaborative campus setting.

The project was carefully planned to balance operational efficiency with employee experience, organizing laboratory, office, and support spaces to encourage flexibility, innovation, and cross-functional collaboration. The building incorporates adaptable lab environments based on a continuous lab planning approach, allowing spaces to evolve as research and production needs change over time. Centralized amenities, shared collaboration zones, and indoor-outdoor workspaces further support productivity and team engagement.

Environmental stewardship was a core driver of the project, with the facility thoughtfully integrated into the surrounding landscape to leverage natural views, daylight, and the site’s unique topography. In addition to research and office functions, the campus includes a pilot production plant used for early-stage manufacturing and testing of advanced pharmaceutical products, including processes that supported the development of Pfizer’s COVID-19 vaccine—an effort widely documented by The New York Times.
